Jordi Labanda has lived in Barcelona since the age of three. He studied industrial design and began to work as an illustrator in 1993. His work was immediately widely acclaimed, and appeared in W, Vogue, Wallpaper, and the New York Times Magazine.

He depicts classic contemporary characters in a lavish style that reflects his views on social behavior, design, fashion, architecture, art and human relations. He has given illustration a decisive role in fashion and the media.
